Favourite books: 2022

After a heavy study season, I've so enjoyed re-engaging in real-book reading! 2022 felt like one of my better reading years! I want to read, develop, and learn more, so the monthly book bundles from my local council library play a part! The list and links aren’t ranked, just eclectic, biased, and reflect my usual areas of interest.

As I captured on Instagram, here’s the bundle of linked reads across the year: January 2022, February 2022, March 2022, April 2022, May 2022, June 2022, July 2022, August 2022, September 2022, October 2022, November 2022, December 2022 books.

Some of my favourite reads of the year are Practising the presence of people by Mike Mason, Dwell by Barry Jones, Institutional intelligence by Gordon Smith, Jesus every day by Mary DeMuth, Soul of Desire by Curt Thompson, A non-anxious presence by Mark Sayers, Ragamuffin gospel by Brennan Manning along with Truth on fire by Adam Ramsey, with KJ Ramsey’s remarkable book: The Lord is my courage, being my favourite and best-read-of-the-year. So much goodness in this remarkable blend of theology, story, therapy & kingdom goodness in a deep-dive into Psalm 23!

I’m always keen to hear your preferences and suggestions? What should I be reading that you’ve loved?! I’m always on the lookout for a good read. Blessings to you and yours in your reading life in the year ahead!
